I learnt this morning the very sad news of the death of fellow MIC Ian Whitehead. Ian ran High Trek here in Snowdonia and we would often bump into each other on the hills and on courses. Ian slipped in descent in poor weather whilst in the Alps with his daughter (who was unhurt). My thoughts are with his family, Ian will be greatly missed.
