Buachaille Etive Beag

Today Mark, Andy, Naomi, David, Mike, Alex and I  (assisted by Martin) headed up Buachaille Etive Beag for the second day of our winter skills course. We took in the two most Southerly summits and put into practice some of the skills that we had covered yesterday. The winds on the top were far stronger than forecast and were gusting over 70mph as were were unable to stand up. We roped up to descend the narrow section of the ridge back and enjoyed the adventure! We had some glimpses of blue sky and some more snowfall to complete a proper winter day out,
