Today Julian, Jez and I headed up Bastow Buttress Variant (2/3) on the East Face of Tryfan. The forecast gale force winds dod not materialise but there was enough of a breeze to keep the midgies at bay and the day stayed dry too. Gez and Julian lead the route between them with me alongside giving advice on stance management, gear placement, belays, route finding and general efficiency on mountaineering routes.
