I have been joined for two days by Sean and Robin for an advanced scrambling course here in Snowdonia. Both guys have done a reasonable amount of mountaineering so we headed up Dolmen Ridge (3) with me leading. As we reached the upper third of the route I handed over the sharp end of the rope and climbed alongside them as they lead in alternate pitches. We looked at efficient ropework and belays on this type of ground before descending the Gribin Ridge. Once again we have had wonderful weather!!
