I have been climbing at Gogarth today for Pauls second day of private guiding. We climbed A Dream of White Horses together a couple of years ago and at the time Paul was struck by the aesthetics of Wen (HVS 5a, 4c, 5a) and so that was our route of choice for today. We abseiled in and enjoyed the route in isolation, a couple of chaps started off on Dream as we finished our route which gave some nice photo opportunities. After a bit of lunch we climbed Britomartis (HVS 4c, 4c) which is a good steep crack and starts pretty much at sea level so we noticed the not inconsiderable swell! We saw some huge seals which is always nice and enjoyed tea and cake to round our day off at the Breakwater Quarry visitor centre.
