I was joined for the day by John who is looking to progress a career in the outdoors and so is interested in my Trainee Instructor Mentor Scheme. John has his SPA & ML planned for this year and was keen to get some rock mileage under his belt. It was raining in Capel Curig this morning so we hit the A55 and found sunshine and dry rock at Gogarth. We climbed Lighthouse Arete (VS 4a, 4c, 4b, 4a) this morning and then John lead a couple of Severes at Holyhead Mountain before finishing the arms off with another VS 4c. A great day in the sunshine.
