Shelters and stability tests

It has been a pretty wild day today with gale fore winds and rain at all levels this afternoon. We headed up onto Aonach Nid and used the recent snowfall to further our knowledge of the snowpack, stability tests and avalanche avoidance. We also built a snow shelter which provided a nice lunch shelter. Fingers crossed its supposed to be getting colder again tomorrow afternoon.
