Buachaille Etive Beag
The team and I have had a cracking day out on Buachaille Etive Beag under blue skies, sunshine and in temperatures well below freezing all day. We did some more crampon work on ice and ended up wearing them most of the day as the path was nicely icey underfoot. We also looked at avalanche avoidance in more detail, practised the ice axe arrest skills we had learnt yesterday and bagged the summit for lunch! A great day in great company and great scenery! Apologies for any email problems over the last few days, I have been moving from place to place as the cottage I rent for the season was not ready but am in situ now!
